The “B” word…balance. This is one of the most challenging concepts in life. We say that we need to balance our life for our well-being. While I have continued to seek balance in my own life, I recently have decided that the notion of trying to find balance may not feasible because of the pressures of today. We try to do more with less, to be more innovative, to be more distinct, to be more productive, to be more cost-effective, to be available at all times, to be financially secure, to be the best parent/grandparent, to have a picture-perfect home, to keep up with the Joneses can all be overwhelming. So how can we achieve balance our lives when we feel we are expected to do it all? [Read more…] about Clutter Busting: The “B” Word

Clutter Busting: Opportunity
OPPORTUNITYISNOWHERE
What do you see in the word above?
Most of us immediately lock onto one perspective and remain fairly confident in our findings.
Did you see?
- Opportunity is now here.
- Opportunity is nowhere.
You may have chosen the first answer or the second and did even consider the possibility that there is another point of view: Opportunity I snow here.
Opportunities abound if we seek them out or are open to them. Are you wearing blinders and not seeing the choices and chances you have?
If you are stuck and unable to see the opportunities that are available to you, working with a life coach can help. Contact me for a free 30-minutes introductory session.
Clutter Busting: How Do You Tackle Your Work?
HOW DO YOU TACKLE YOUR WORK?
~ Edgar Guest
How do you tackle your work each day?
Are you scared of the job you find?
Do you grapple the task that comes your way
With a confident, easy mind?
Do you stand right up to the work ahead
Or fearfully pause to view it?
Do you start to toil with a sense of dread
Or feel that you’re going to do it?You can do as much as you think you can,
But you’ll never accomplish more;
If you’re afraid of yourself, young man,
There’s little for you in store.
For failure comes from the inside first,
It’s there if we only knew it,
And you can win, though you face the worst,
If you feel that you’re going to do it.Success! It’s found in the soul of you,
And not in the realm of luck!
The world will furnish the work to do,
But you must provide the pluck.
You can do whatever you think you can,
It’s all in the way you view it.
It’s all in the start that you make, young man:
You must feel that you’re going to do it.How do you tackle your work each day?
With confidence clear, or dread?
What to yourself do you stop and say
When a new task lies ahead?
What is the thought that is in your mind?
Is fear ever running through it?
If so, just tackle the next you find
By thinking you’re going to do it.
Wishing you a positively wonderful Labor Day!
Clutter Busting: Feel the Goodness
Most of the time we focus on what we don’t have. We get buried by negativity…our own and others.
For one day feel the goodness. Be grateful for what you do have in your life right now. Being grateful adds power to your life and like attract like.
So be grateful even for the small things today and your rewards will b big.
Clutter Busting: Forgiveness
Forgive yourself for your faults and mistakes and move on. ~Les Brown
Forgiving yourself can be much harder than forgiving someone else. When you are carrying around blame for something that has happened in the past, this bundle of negativity can cause a never-ending, persistent feeling of unhappiness. Forgiving yourself is an important act of moving forward and releasing yourself from the past. It’s also a way of protecting your health and general well-being. Here are some suggestions on how to forgive yourself: [Read more…] about Clutter Busting: Forgiveness
