Clutter Busting: Your Beliefs About a Healthy Weight

March 8, 2014 by clutterbusting Leave a Comment

Since this is National Nutrition Month® I wanted to share a post about healthy weight and our beliefs from a while back. What is true for you and your healthy weight?

Think about your beliefs about being at a healthy weight. Are they still true for you? Do you struggle with achieving a healthy weight? What are your mental messages about your weight and eating healthy?

It does take an attitude adjustment and a daily commitment to eat healthy…to nourish your body to support the life of your dreams. If you continue to believe that achieving weight loss is hard work, it will be that way for you.  But if you choose to become your own priority and choose to eat healthier, lose weight, if needed, and be physically active you will be able to be a healthier you.

Become your own priority. If you interested in learning how life  coaching can assist you in reaching your goals, contact me to learn more.

Clutter Busting: Small Things Matter

February 22, 2014 by clutterbusting Leave a Comment

There is a lot going on in our lives and that can contribute to us feeling off balance. Sometimes it all feels overwhelming but you can control your piece of the world.  Even small changes such as a new lipstick color or trying a new recipe may be all it takes to spur you on to bigger changes.

So shake things up and change one small thing. What will it be? I just bought a new pair of earrings in a different style than I usually wear.

What will I change next? What will you change next?

Take Joy in Risk

February 15, 2014 by clutterbusting Leave a Comment

So you thrive by taking risk or do you like to play it safe? Do you seek new opportunities or stick to the tried and true?

Challenge yourself. Join a new club, explore a new place, enroll in a new class or just change your walking route or route to work. This might provide a fresh experience and could lead you on an exhilarating journey that you never imagined.

By taking risks you are engaging in the dance of life. You are paving the way for a deeper exploration of the wonders that life has to offer. When you are willing to take risks, you create space for endless possibilities. As you seek new, adventurous experiences, you are calling unexpected joy into your life. Looking toward the unknown may seem daunting at first, but fresh experiences invigorate the body and uplift the spirit. Taking chances helps you greet the new and gain a deeper trust and understanding of yourself and others. When you take a risk or leap of faith, you take advantage of the gift of discovery and discover even greater mysteries of life. Letting go of the ordinary today can help you reveal that which is extraordinary in yourself and your life. Go ahead… leap.
